What Copier Companies Won’t Tell You About “Going Green”

"We're all Green, Really..."

Are you a company that has been concerned about its carbon footprint here in San Jose?  If you’ve been trying to find a copier that is environmentally friendly, you will hear every sales Rep tell you how the brand that they’re selling has been “going green” since the foundation of the world.  If we ask some of the hard questions, which we have, you’ll find the green initiatives are getting better, but are more of a function of the marketing department than they are of the deep commitment to the environment.  One brand in particular, HP, gets a lot of flak when they are one of the few Brands who pushed environmental initiatives will before they were popular or cool.  We’re not saying other Brands don’t care about the environment, Kyocera for example, is pretty amazing when it comes to the amount of waste their copiers produce in their overall commitment to carbon neutrality.  We’ve just found it can be difficult to tell whether the copier company you are dealing with is actually concerned about the environment, or if they just have a slick Brochure.  Please feel free to give us a call if you’re looking for a copier in San Jose and we’ll give you a rundown of the different copier companies so you can make an informed decision.
