Why Copier End of Life Matters (EOL) in San Jose

Time to Recycle or Purchase the Copier in San Jose?

If you have been considering purchasing a used copier in San Jose, there is a crucial concept you need to understand before you shell out your cash to a copier company!  The idea is that of End of Life (EOL).  A copier end of life will start a chain of events which you need to understand before buying a used copier.

First of all, the end of life is the date that the manufacturer officially discontinues a model of printer or copier.  Parts are pretty much always available for at least 5 years AFTER this date.  If the copier you are looking at buying is used, but still a currently offered model, you know you can get parts for the 5 years of the contract.  If it was discontinued in 2006, you have 1 year left before the copier companies will start telling you the copier can no longer be supported.

Before buying a used copier in San Jose, know when the End of Life for the copier occured!
